🤩 My Shortcut Strategy

As soon as I start something, my brain naturally forces me to find a shortcut.

This is both a negative and a positive for me. The negative is that I tend to get bored easily with things that take a lot of time; the positive is that I am able to think outside the box and hack my way faster.

I have been thinking about how to scale the newsletter, if there's something I could do that might be a giant leap. I have an experiment that I think could be interesting. I am planning to create multiple Substacks and test different ICPs (audiences).

I will build each Substack to 10k subscribers and send the same content on a weekly basis. This will help to scale up the newsletter quickly without spending a lot apart from just the database.

If I create 10 such Substacks and have even 5% engaged readers, I'll have a B2B newsletter of 5k subscribers, which is worth a lot if you ask me.

Then I could just move this list to Beehiiv and start monetizing, and keep experimenting with new Substacks.

🤓 Offer Figured out

I had been brainstorming about the service I could start by cold emailing. Initially, I was inclined to do what is working for others - simply a "LeadGen" Agency.

However, it's a commodity service. I want to have a premium service that solves a burning problem which no one else is addressing.

I think I might be speculating, but I have a hunch that this might turn out to be good. It's going to be a done-for-you (DFY) newsletter - for founders and companies who want to have an owned audience.

My unique strengths here are:

  • I can create ICPs which are highly relevant

  • I can quickly research content and create newsletter for most tech, marketing, finance, health (and so on) niches.

  • I have already run an research company serving enterprise clients in cryptostellar; I can write, copywrite and research.

  • I have been researching about newsletters since last 70+ days, so I have a lot of inside knowledge of tools and tricks

  • Growth Hacking with Substacks, ads and perhaps engagementX (this can expedite its development)

  • I already have Cryptostellar’s trusted freelancers in contact.

  • I can scrape emails for already established audiences of the person or company or it’s competitors of twitter, instagram, linkedin etc.

Most founders never get time to work on personal brands, and many brands, even with their own communities and those who already have followers on social media, never have an owned audience. An owned audience is really powerful in 2024.

Specially for those who are raising money ;)

Gmails’ blocked

One small roadblock I faced this week was that the inboxes I had warmed up with mails.ai got banned. I learned my lesson not to put all eggs in one basket, especially if it's not trusted/tested. I'll now shift them to Outlook and create a few more domains with .com TLDs.

🤯 Brainfart

AI chatbots are like automated phone systems: they're annoying, but at least they're consistent in their annoyance.

Thanks for joining me on this Ultrapreneur journey! Let's build something extraordinary, exposing vulnerabilities and the obstacles we face.
