🤩 Newsletter Live

I sent the first email to around ~2k subscribers. It was sneaky way of building the list, but I know many people in the industry are doing it so why not?

I created an ICP to test, which were founders of marketing companies.

I loved the results: 38% open rate and 0 unsubscribes.

I was expecting people would hate a surprise newsletter, but I guess people love chuck (for those who don’t know the context - Bots Gone Wild (BGW) is the newsletter lead by ChatGPT now known as chuck and 4 other LLMs: Clyde, Mack, Gem and Plex).

The journey gets interesting here. I’m excited about the things as they unfold as I progress with more emails addition and sending.

🤓 All knowledge curated → AI Marketing Playbook

It was really difficult to do so, to write everything I know to the public. This was something well gated within my Notion, but I decided this because ‘you’re green you grow, you’re ripe you rot’. I guess this is how I’ll learn even better things.

I created a lead magnet which is “AI Marketing Playbook” which includes almost all the growth hacking tricks I have up my sleevs.

I divided it into 3 parts same as BGW’s main content pillars, i.e., Automations in 1) Social Media Marketing 2) Content Creation and 3) Prospecting and Outreach.

It includes many of the automations and growth hacking tricks I’ve learned over past few years and used it in my crypto viral marketing company. You can reply to this email, if you’d like to read it. (Sorry, but only for engaged readers)

Making Sense of 8M Instagram Data & OFFER

I got a 8M database of Instagram businesses with their emails and phone numbers, it’s valuable only if I can segregate it well. It already has two important columns ‘bio’ and the ‘category’.

I can apply filters such as CEO/Founder/Building/Growing etc. in the bio to get people who are probably founders/decision makers and the category has many relevant columns such as ‘Entrepreneurs’ or ‘content creators’ etc.

I plan to use Python and Pandas to make this data useful.

One Important point I’m lacking so far is what’s the most valuable thing I can offer to them which is not a commodity product. I want something that is blue ocean.

There are tons of lead generation people, social media guys, and even AI automations guys. I want to offer a unique service that is too sweet without the cringy money-back guarantee that is over saturated after Alex’s $100M offers

Plans Ahead

Now that I have the wheels rolling - newsletter setup, lead magnets ready (recommendation engine and AI marketing playbook), emails warmed up, email list to test.

I want to send time next week to actually doing a lot of testing with offers testing, emailing and newsletter publishing.
