Today started rough, as I had to face extreme cold after arriving in Chopta last night.

This was a planned tour, as it was my best friend's destination wedding in Haridwar.

It's always good to have a detour excursion planned after a wedding. However, this time it's just me traveling solo, with no end date set unless I get too cold.

One of the problems, though, is that this area is remote, and internet is nowhere to be found.

One of the great achievements this week was launching the tools search engine.

Honestly, it didn't take much effort to add this, but it feels good to strike off some long-standing unchecked boxes from the to-do list.

Should I start with the good news or the bad news?
Let's start with the good news: I got offers from two publishers to advertise through the Beehiiv ads. The CPC was good too, exactly what I was aiming for.

So I added one of the sponsors as the primary sponsor at the top of the newsletter. Generally, I get around 2-3% CTR. Here comes the bad news - I got only 0.9% CTR and zero clicks on the ad.

I was expecting 30-50 clicks. It was devastating for me.

The lesson is: Do not celebrate before realizing the profits (or before the money hits the bank account). I will now focus on investigating what happened, as I created the newsletter with a new template and design overhaul."
